We have known that the spring steel wire's quality will be affect by many things, for example the equipment. The structure of industrial furnaces, and the heating process, temperature control and the furnace atmosphere, all of them will influence the product quality. In the forging furnace, the heating temperature increase of the metal can reduce the deformation resistance, but the temperature is too high will cause grain growth, oxidation, or burning off, seriously affecting the quality of the work piece. In the heat treatment process, if the steel is heated to a point above the critical temperature, and then suddenly cooled, you can increase the hardness and strength of spring steel wire; if heated to a point below the critical temperature and then slowly cooled, and then they can make the hardness of spring steel wire leaving lower and toughness increased.
